April Coker is a strategic operator and problem-solver with deep roots in energy, consulting, and digital transformation. After spending years juggling disjointed timesheet systems across consulting and startup advisory roles, she did what seasoned operators do best: she built the solution herself. BillableIQ was born from April’s firsthand frustration with calendar chaos, billing blind spots, and wasted administrative hours. She listened, observed, and translated a pervasive industry pain point into a seamless automation platform that saves professionals hours each week.

April’s career spans high-impact roles at energy firms like Callon Petroleum, Linn Energy, and Verde CO₂, where she drove operational efficiency, regulatory strategy, and M&A execution. A graduate of the MIT xPRO Chief Operating Officer program with additional training in AI, IoT, and financial modeling, she brings a rare blend of technical acuity and executional grit.

Known for her ability to build from zero and see around corners, April combines user empathy with business discipline. With BillableIQ, she delivers a tool designed by someone who lived the pain and it purpose-built to eliminate the pain.

Chris Cordts — Strategic Advisor

Chris Cordts brings nearly four decades of enterprise-grade software leadership to BillableIQ. At Halliburton’s Landmark Graphics division, he managed the development pipeline for five flagship products, including TERAS and DecisionSpace, directing multi-disciplinary teams through every release cycle. While serving as Senior Product Manager at P2 Energy Solutions he rebuilt the BOLO Production Accounting allocation engine, introduced a drag-and-drop gathering-system configurator, and launched a real-time analytics dashboard now used by dozens of E&P operators.

Chris later became Principal Solutions Architect at BHP, where he has spent the last decade driving global information-management platforms from concept to deployment, integrating SAP and third-party data streams across complex upstream portfolios. His earlier roles at Enertia Software and IMSL honed his expertise in hydrocarbon accounting, mathematical libraries, and performance-critical code.

As Strategic Advisor, Chris guides BillableIQ on architecture, scalability, and product-market alignment, adding the battle-tested experience of a veteran who has shipped, implemented, and commercialized production accounting software for some of the world’s largest energy companies.
